Commissioned activities

The department pursues a number of commissioned activities in relation to education and research within its fields of expertise and knowledge.

Municipalities, authorities, private enterprises and NGO:s can purchase education on basic or advanced level in the form of courses, seminars and lectures. Developmental work at a workplace, carried out in cooperation between the external part and employees from the Department, also counts as commissioned education. Commissioned education is the concept used in laws and regulations to describe and regulate education offered to external employers. Education can only be offered to employers for their employees, not to private persons. The content and the form of education are designed and regulated in a dialogue between the Department and the external part. In this way, we strive to uphold sustainable development in our commissioned education.
