Welcome to a lecture with Doris Lydahl, new associate professor in sociology, entitled ‘Care in theory, practice, method and academia’.
Care has been described as all that is done to maintain and repair our world so that all can live in it as well as possible. But what forms does care take in practice? How can care be used as a theoretical and methodological resource? And what role does care play in academia? These are questions Doris Lydahl will address in her docent lecture.
After the lecture, Doris invites you to mingle with light refreshments in the lunch room on the third floor at The Department of Sociology and Work Science (F building).
