Learn more about marine organisms, marine research, and climate change in our workshop in Frihamnen.

Workshop

Good to know
This event is aimed at the general public and at children. The event does not require a booking.
Organizer
Department of Marine Sciences, University of Gothenburg

In this workshop, we will show different marine organisms that you can look at in aquariums and under microscopes, such as plankton, mussels, snails, eelgrass and deep-sea corals.

There will be posters, where you can learn more about our research, marine organisms, and climate change.

We will also be conducting a survey on the perception of climate change in society, so please come and help us to identify the barriers between science and society!

There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and there will be drawing stations for children.
