What do we know about overweight? A growing problem
Why do we have a global obesity epidemic? What are the medical consequences for people in the short and long term? Current research from the School of Public Health and Community Medicine paints a frightening future scenario where the obesity epidemic is compared to a ticking time bomb that grows day by day.

Come and listen to a lecture on the historical, medical, and human aspects of overweight and obesity with Maria Åberg, professor of general medicine.

Time: ca 18-19.30 (45 minutes lecture, 30 min for questions, ca 15 min fika)

Language: The lecture will be held in Swedish.
