Welcome to a workshop on ethics for research and teaching in natural language processing. The purpose of the workshop is to survey and discuss these topics in an open forum from both teaching and research perspectives and build a community. One of the outcomes is to provide a framework for development of a short online course for students of language technology, related fields, and general public.
