About Messages from Ukraine
The exhibition is based on the short graphic novel Messages from Ukraine by Gregg Bucken-Knapp, Professor in public administration, and the Estonian comic artist Joonas Sildre. Focusing on the first dramatic weeks of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Messages from Ukraine is based on text messages from fifteen Ukrainians who are migration and integration professionals.
The graphic novel is published by University of Toronto Press. Proceeds from the sale of Messages from Ukraine will go to the Canada-Ukraine Foundation, a national charitable foundation that provides humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine. Supported by Swedish Institute.
