Dag Hanstorp appointed honorary doctorate at the University of Latvia
Dag Hanstorp has become an honorary professor at the University of Latvia. The award was presented at a ceremony in Riga.
Dag Hanstorp started collaborating with Latvian researchers back in 1990, when the country was still part of the Soviet Union. This year he was awarded an honorary doctorate at the University of Latvia (Doctor honoris causa Universitatis Latviensis) and was honored at a ceremony in Riga.
The motivation read: "For outstanding scientific activity and long-term cooperation with Latvian scientists."
