Crime, corruption, and inequality are explored in a 7.5-credit course for doctoral students.

The course in applied microeconomics combines theory, data analysis, and econometric methods and the lectures will take place between January 20 and January 24, 2025. The first part, led by Professor Mikael Lindahl, focuses on intergenerational mobility. The second part, led by Professor Randi Hjalmarsson, addresses the economics of crime and criminal justice, while the third part, taught by Professor Andreea Mitrut, examines corruption, with a particular focus on corruption in the educational and healthcare sectors.

An additional session is planned for graduate students to present their research proposals. The application deadline is October 3.
