From Theory to Action – Management Students Tackle Climate Solutions

Published

As part of their coursework, students in the Master of Science in Management program engage in the En-ROADS guided assignment, where they use a simulator to develop a scenario that effectively tackles climate change.

By representing different stakeholders and weighing the economic, environmental, and societal implications, the students are challenged to make complex decisions.

In the video below, students share their reflections on the exercise alongside Niklas Egels-Zandén, director of the program, who led the session and explains the benefits of using scenario-based learning, understanding diverse perspectives, and considering the positions of multiple stakeholders.

– We get so many other benefits from running a class like this compared to just doing it as a normal lecture, Niklas says.
