Global representation at event hosted by CCI
Bioimaging Analysts and microscopists professionals from the Global BioImage Analysts’ Society (GloBIAS) gathered at the Wallenberg Conference Centre to exchange knowledge and best practices in bioimage analysis.
Participants from across Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australia came together for the event, which focused on networking opportunities and hands-on workshops.
“We’re here to advance and shape our society, and this meeting offers an excellent opportunity to share experiences,” says Julia Fernandez Rodriguez, Head of the Centre for Cellular Imaging (CCI), part of Core Facilities and a member of the GloBIAS steering committee.
She adds:
“By the time we wrap up on Friday, I also hope these in-person connections will help foster new collaborations between members".
GloBIAS aims to be a worldwide association that brings together all those interested in bioimage analysis. The society will enable learning and knowledge exchange between members, achieved by online events, in-person workshops and online repositories.
