New perspectives on social problems through interdisciplinary collaboration
How do you see new approaches to understanding mental health, crime or addiction? The answer may lie in mixing disciplines, questioning old methods and daring to try new ones. When doctoral students from the University of Gothenburg and Germany's TU Dresden recently put their heads together, the result was both appreciated and hopeful.
About the doctoral conference
- Title: Interdisciplinary Methodologies and Creative Perspectives for Researching Mental Health and Social Problems
- Organisers: Elisabeth Punzi and Annelie de Cabo, Department of Social Work, University of Gothenburg, in collaboration with colleagues from TU Dresden.
- Participants: PhD students from the University of Gothenburg and TU Dresden (Institute of English and American Studies), and Professor Carsten Junker from TU Dresden.
- Part of EUTOPIA MORE: The conference was organised in the framework of the EUTOPIA MORE project, which promotes interdisciplinary cooperation between European universities.
