Nobel Laureate Simon Johnson speaks at the School

Published

We are proud to have Nobel Laureate Simon Johnson visit the School of Business, Economics and Law on Saturday to hold the lecture "Technology and Global Inequality in the Age of AI".

On December 14th, Simon Johnson, one of this year’s three recipients of the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, will give a lecture at the School of Business, Economics and Law.

Earlier in the day, he will join a seminar with members of the faculty. Johnson’s research, conducted with Daron Acemoglu and James A. Robinson, highlights how societal institutions shape economic prosperity and why institutional differences persist over time.

The lecture is fully booked, as students and staff have already received invitations.
