Skagerak finally at home port
On Wednesday, July 7, the university's new vessel Skagerak finally arrived at its home port, Nya varvet in Gothenburg.
On Wednesday, July 7, the university's new vessel Skagerak finally arrived at its home port, Nya varvet in Gothenburg.
The project has been delayed for various reasons. In March 2020, the vessel was towed from Poland to Sweden. And during the past year, intensive work has been going on to get the ship ready.
– Everyone involved has done a fantastic job. It has not been easy or a straight path towards the goal, but now the vessel is ready, says dean Göran Hilmersson.
