Evidence, source criticism, and credibility in the Digital Transformation Era of Museums
Research project
Active research
Short description
Digital knowledge transfer, not least through immersive and interactive technologies, has gained a foothold in the cultural heritage area as it allows new ways to explore collections and convey contexts. The project aims to produce guiding documents that cultural heritage actors can consult when planning and developing immersive and interactive exhibition elements to convey the tactile, spatial or emotional depth of the collections, and when faced with the pedagogical choices that exhibition technology offers. The project will also develop methods for evaluating immersive exhibitions. The goal is to offer methods and examples to bridge the gap between research, mediation and the public.
