GraviD-child – uppföljning av barnen födda inom GraviD-studien

GraviD-child includes the follow-up of the children who were born within the population-based GraviD study. The children have been followed up with clinical measurements and collected questionnaire data. The children were born in 2014 and 2015, and the families were invited at the age of 6 to answer questions about allergies, dietary intake, and growth. At the age of 8, the families were invited again for measurements of the children’s dietary intake, body composition, nutritional status, and vascular health. So far, we have been able to see a correlation between vitamin D status during pregnancy and the risk in children of developing atopic disease (among those without atopic heredity).
