On the brink of socio-technical transition: navigating the knowledge-intensive innovation ecosystem for introduction of autonomous vehicles
Short description
As technology gets more complex and embedded, it frequently takes time for the regulations to catch-up. When these solutions are needed to address some of the pressing challenges, it is even more important to find ways to accelerate the policy learning process, so that the companies in question are able to develop and commercialize the technology promptly. That said, this project addresses the following research questions: How do the private and public actors interact for the development of AV-related regulations? How does the case company manage the social and regulatory uncertainties surrounding AV development and commercialization?
*AV – autonomous vehicles
