Developing an internationally validated algorithm to allocate patients with congenital heart disease to the appropriate level of care

In order to provide people with congenital heart disease with the most appropriate care, this project aims to develop and test a strategy for risk regulation, based on clinical outcomes and healthcare costs for patients in Sweden and Belgium.
The goal is to develop an empirically based algorithm that will guide clinicians, administrators and policy makers in allocating patients to the right level of care to optimize clinical outcomes at a reasonable cost.
