Short description

The aim of the project is to increase knowledge about the opportunities and challenges of telework in a continued transition towards an ecologically and socially sustainable working and everyday life and for the advancement of 'dense' and energy-efficient cities and regions.

Goals

The sub goals of the project are to i) carry out two empirical studies that provide insight into adaptation strategies of households; intentions and readiness for continued homework, duration of adaptation strategies, differences between worker groups; and implications for households’ energy-related activity patterns; ii) to develop knowledge that is useful for policy, public planning and business in the development of a resource-efficient and sustainable society; (iii) contribute to knowledge on the implications of digital technologies and access on sustainable urban and regional development; and iv) develop the project in an co-creative dialogue with a reference group comprising relevant stakeholders.
