Short description
This project examines the effect and experience of a brief parent intervention, AFFEKT, for parents of children with externalizing behaviors within primary health care. The project involves two separate studies. The first study includes an RCT study with outcomes that measures children’s externalizing behaviors and mental health, and the parents’ sense of competence, strategies, mental health and quality of life. The second study is a qualitative study that examine parents experience of the intervention AFFEKT, and how they perceive their child and relation to their child after the program.
