Application for the Master's Programme in International Administration and Global Governance (IAGG)
Assessment of qualifications for applying.
Selection
If there are more applicants than there are places, the selection is based on an overall assessment of your academic and professional experiences, and how well the program fits your career goals.
In the assessment, we consider the following:
- Average grades from the bachelor’s degree.
- Completed courses in relevant subject areas (at least 60 credits in Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, International Relations, Peace and Conflict Studies, Global Studies, or Development Studies is a merit)
- Statement of intent (the relevance of academic and professional qualifications to the program.). Please use the template provided.
- CV (relevant previous work experience, internships, or skills).
You should therefore upload:
- a CV (maximum 2 pages) that gives an overview of your academic merits, and your experiences of organizational and/or professional life,
- a Statement of intent (the template is available below)
Upload the Statement of intent and CV to universityadmissions.se no later than February 3 (if you apply in the first admission round October 20 - January 15 ) or May 2 (if you apply in the second admission round March 15 - April 15). Please note that the exact date may vary, see universityadmissions.se. The Statement of intent and CV should be in English.
Please use the template, Statement of intent, which is available below. The template is fixed and the space is limited. The Statement of intent is written by responding to the questions in the template. The responses should be well structured and written, in clear and concise language.
