German Post-War Literature I
Summary
This course covers German-language literary history from 1945 to the present day. The main focus is on various developments and trends within the period, such as early post-war literature, the politicisation of literature, new subjectivity, postmodernism, Wende literature, and migration literature. These are exemplified by a number of works canonised in literary history.
