Global Religion, Migration and Diaspora
About
Religion is a global phenomenon. Through today?s migration, the world?s religions are spread at an ever increasing rate. New religious networks and information channels are continually established both globally and locally. What consequences does increased migration have for different societies and for individual religiosity? What is the significance of religion in a diaspora situation? This course highlights the importance of religious change at both global and micro level, and in the everyday life of individuals, families and communities.
Prerequisites and selection
Entry requirements
Bachelor'sdegree or University studies equal to a Bachelor's degree, including an approved Bachelor thesis of at least 15 credits. Applicants must prove their knowledge of English: English 5/English A from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, for example TOEFL, IELTS.
Selection
Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 165 credits.
