Interpretation for Orchestra Instrument/Piano/Organ 2
Summary
This course is a continuation of Interpretation for Orchestra Instrument/Piano/Organ 1 and aims at further developing your artistic interpretive ability, and developing the perception of the role of your main instrument as part of an orchestra.
About
You participate both in individual lessons, in chamber music lessons and in symphonic orchestra playing with students from the master's programme in Symphonic Orchestra Performance. The course is a preparation for the master's programme in Symphonic Orchestra Performance and also aims at developing you in realizing your own artistic ideas and to be able to communicate with audiences.
The course is on undergraduate level and runs full-time during one semester.

Prerequisites and selection
Selection
The selection is based on submitted digital video recordings, containing 3 music pieces of your own choice from different music eras. The material must be submitted via SlideRoom Technologies Inc., no later than the last application date. Ranking takes into account the assessed level of instrument-, artistic- and musical skills. The quality of the submitted recordings must represent your material justly.

The Academy of Music and Drama operates from four locations in Gothenburg: Eklandagatan 86, Åvägen 24 (Brewhouse), Vasagatan 50 (HDK-Valand) and Triörgatan 1 (Andra stället).
