The teachers of the master's programme in composition (Experimental Composition and Creation) are presented below. Want to know more? Click on the links for the teachers' individual pages. In addition to the teachers, a number of people work with administration and technique for the education.
- Malin Bång, senior lecturer in composition, is a regular visiting professor at academies in Europe, the US, and Japan, as well as being part of the faculty at the Darmstädter Ferienkurse. She is the composer in residence and a founding member of the Curious Chamber Players. Malin Bång’s music is exploring specific subject matters from an angle of physicality, focus, movement and energy and her works are performed worldwide.
- Staffan Mossenmark, is Professor in composition and teaches and tutors in the artistic area of performative sound art, site specific performance and sound art in public places. He conducts research in the field of public space as a venue for art and public expression.
- Palle Dahlstedt, is a composer, improviser, and researcher with a PhD in advanced algorithms for artistic creativity. Dahlstedt’s special interest is the the deep entanglement of art and advanced technology and he is also Professor of Interaction Design at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology, and guest professor in Art & Technology at Aalborg University, Denmark.
