Applied Geology
About
The course covers the basic conditions for construction in and on land. The course emphasises Nordic conditions and issues, but examples from the rest of the world are also used.
The course is part of the Bachelor’s Programme in Earth Sciences, the course is also offered as a freestanding course.

Entry requirements
Admission to the course requires a passing grade in the course GVG280 Structural geology, 7.5 credits and at least 120 credits in the main field of earth sciences of which at least 75% with the grade "Pass" (G). Students with equivalent education may, after assessment, be admitted to the course.
English proficiency
Incoming students should have an English level equivalent of B2 or higher as courses and materials, including presentations and exams, will be in English.
