About

This course will provide opportunity to get practical experience in addition to what was achieved during Internship 1

You will have the possibility to further explore different careers related to research or your profession. Location can be in Sweden or abroad, at 100%, 50% or 25% speed. The internship ends with a written report where you describe and reflect upon you experiences.

You are responsible to arrange the internship. It includes to establish a contact with the receiving organization and a person who can be your supervisor, who will aid with an internship plan where time period, work tasks and responsibilities are specified (internship plan template). This plan needs to be submitted to and approved by the course coordinator before course registration.

This course is given in period 1-2 August to October and also in period 3-4 November to January.

This course is open to

Exchange students at the Faculty of Education and exchange students on a university-wide agreement. Please contact your international coordinator at the University of Gothenburg if you need to know more.

Entry requirements

Requirements for eligibility: IKA 401 Internship I, 15 credits.

In addition, a plan and an agreement for the internship must be signed by the host organization and approved by the course leader. A supervisor at the place of internship and dates for the duration of internship should be specified. The field placement can be as per IKA 401 Internship I or at another location, in or outside Sweden, and at a university, or another work place or a non-profit organization. The planned activities should clearly relate to Food and Nutrition or Sport Science.
