About

The course English for Teachers in Pre-School Class and Year
1-3 students develop their oral skills in English and focus is on
pronunciation in the beginning. The course deals with theories of
learning and how learning can be promoted through aesthetic learning
processes. An orientation in contemporary English children's literature
is given and relevant literature for the age group is studied. Later
students also develop their writing skills and focus is also on grammer.
Learning, teaching and assessment are discussed and cultural aspects of
teaching English as foreign language are analyzed as well as use of ICT
in the language classroom.
