Instructions for presenters
- We invite oral presentations of 20 min. plus 5 min. discussion. Since we have a tight schedule we kindly ask you to keep the time.
- Please bring your own laptop, since there are no computers provided in the rooms.
- HDMI cables to connect to the projectors in the room, as well as adapters for USB type C and DisplayPort, will be provided in every room.
- Poster presentations include a 1 min. pitch before the poster session
- We will contact poster presenters as well as the plenary speakers separately with additional information .

Organizers
The conference is organized by the West Swedish Network for Construction Grammar. We are an informal network of researchers who work at higher education institutions in the West of Sweden and who make use of the framework of construction grammar.

- Notification of acceptance: by mid-March, 2024
- Early bird registration: closes 15 May 2024
- Regular and student registration: closes 12 August 2024

To register, click on one of the three registration fees below that applies to you:
- Regular Early Bird: 2500 SEK (deadline 15 May 2024)
- Regular: 3000 SEK (deadline 12 August 2024)
- Student: 1000 SEK (deadline 12 August 2024)
All prices include 25% VAT.
Note that only enrolled Bachelor, Master or PhD students are eligible for the reduced student registration fee!
The registration fee includes:
- Participation in all conference sessions
- Lunch and coffee
- Welcome mingle on 26 August 2024
The conference dinner on 27 August 2024 is not included in the registration fee. We kindly invite you to book the conference diner (a two-course dinner at restaurant Corner) for an additional cost of 500 SEK (incl. VAT) on the registration page. You can also book one of our reserved hotel rooms (Gothia Towers or Comfort Hotel Panorama) as part of the registration process.

Submission of abstracts
We invite papers presenting constructionist approaches to various linguistic phenomena, from theoretical and/or applied perspectives, in the form of oral presentations (20 min. plus 5 min. discussion) or posters. Please submit your abstracts by January 17th, 2024, to EasyAbs. Authors may (co-) submit at most two abstracts, either one single-authored paper and one co-authored one (not as first author) or two co-authored papers (at most one as first author).
Abstracts should not exceed 400 words (excluding references) and should clearly state research questions, approach, method, data and (expected) results. Since all abstracts will be submitted to blind review, make sure no author-specific information is available in the text of the abstract or in the file metadata.
