Forskningsintressen Jag är intresserad av lärande och undervisning i teknik. Min utgångspunkt för lärandet är barns, ungdomars och studenters uppfattningar om teknik och hur dessa uppfattningar kan ligga till grund för undervisningen i teknik. En undervisning som ska bygga vidare mot teknisk bildning. I min forskning har jag utifrån en fenomenografisk ansats studerat barn och ungdomars uppfattningar om tekniska system och vilka didaktiska implikationer detta erbjuder. Vidare har jag nu riktat mitt forskningsintresse mot undervisning av tekniska system och läraares erfarenheter av sådan undervisning. Undervisningsintressen Mitt undervisningsintresse är teknikdidaktik inom lärarutbildningen. Fortbildning för lärare och lärarutbildare när det gäller teknikdidaktik är också ett område som intresserar mig samt undervisning om betyg och bedömning. Samarbeten både nationellt och internationellt är viktiga för att utveckla och sprida teknikdidaktisk forskning och mitt samarbete med CETIS och ETEN har därför betydelse för både min forskning och min undervisning i teknik. Undervisning av teknik i nära samarbete med det omgivande samhället och företag ligger mig också varmt om hjärtat och det är därför ett återkommande tema i min undervisning och olika projekt som jag deltar i.
