About Annika Lindskog

My research interests are mainly in development economics, where I apply microeconomics and econometrics to understand behavior regarding e.g. health, education and fertility.

Research in progress

I currently work together with collegues in the project “Women’s health and welfare – inequality of opportunity, norms and possibilities for change” financed by the Ragnar Söderberg Foundation. We investigate, for example, impacts of cash transfer programs in India on girls schooling and early marriage, and reasons behind the persistence of female genital cutting in many African countries.
