I work as an academic librarian with a shared position at the Social Sciences Libraries and Digital services.
At the Social Sciences Libraries my office is at the Social Sciences Library at Föreningsgatan. I work primarily with teaching and in an advisory capacity with regards to information seeking and information literacy for students and faculty at the Faculties of Social Sciences, Education and IT. I am a member of the library's group for researcher support services and teach doctoral students and support doctoral students and researchers in information seeking and publishing strategies.
At the Digital services unit I work in the team for Publishing and Bibliometric Services, primarily with strategic and practical academic publishing issues, often with a focus on open access.
Before I joined the university library, I worked as an associate professor in Library and Information Science at the University of Borås. I still have an affiliation with the department. I have twenty years of experience in teaching and research, mainly in the areas of academic publishing and information literacy. For short periods of time, I have held positions as guest lecturer/researcher at Lund University (Sweden), UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Queensland University of Technology (Australia) and Makerere University (Uganda).
