The gravitostat - a novel system regulating body fat homeostasis
Research Interest
The physiology behind regulation of food intake and body weight. Research on different levels including experimental animals, translational research and clinical studies.
Ongoing research
Translational and clinical trials investigating a new potential homeostatic mechanism for the regulation of body fat – the Gravitostat. This research is investigating a potential relation between increased loading of the long bones in the extremities and the body weight.
