Abstract/full text

Current research I am currently PI for a project on total defence in Scandinavia (more information here). The project is funded by the Swedish Research Council and runs from 2022 to 2025. Furthermore, I work on a project on civilian-military collaboration with colleagues at CSMS (www.csms.se). Finally, I am PI for a project focusing on public opinion of the Swedish Armed Forces. From 2020-2023 I was also PI for a project on "Outsourcing migration control: Externalizing EU borders to Africa". The project was funded by the Swedish Research Council.

Teaching and tutoring I mainly teach International Relations and themes related to peace, war and security, as well as research methods. I also lecture on the programmes in Global Studies as well as other courses on MA level. In terms of tutoring and supervision, I am interested in all aspects of security privatisation, but also more broadly on topics related to international security, war and warfare, peacekeeping and civil-military relations.
