Research

My research interests and ongoing research projects focus on how new technologies affect various social phenomena and aspects of everyday life. More specifically, my research has focused on love and sexuality on the internet, parenting and the internet, and cyberbullying. I also do research on sexuality, parenting, and bullying in a broader sense. Other areas of interest include scientific method and philosophy of science. My research results have been reported in almost 100 publications, mainly in international scientific journals.

Teaching

I have taught at all levels in the subject of social work and supervised students at B, C and D level, as well as doctoral students in the doctoral program - both nationally and internationally. Today I teach and supervise mainly in the doctoral program. In addition to teaching in my research areas, I mainly teach research methods and theory of science.

I hold and have held several positions of trust in the scientific community. Among other things, I am a member of the editorial boards of the international journals Journal of Sex & Marital Therapy and International Journal of Sexual Health.
