About Martin Gillstedt

M.Sc. in mathematics. PhD student.

My PhD studies are centered around using machine learning for prediction of the risk for skin cancer using Swedish registry data and estimating melanoma thickness given dermatoscopy images of melanomas. I work as a statistician at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Sahlgrenska university hospital. I participate in various research projects in dermatology, including studies that involve skin cancer, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and vitamin D.
