About Steinn Steingrimsson

Senior lecturer, reader (docent) and senior consultant in psychiatry at Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the University of Gothenburg. Scientific secretary for the Swedish Psychiatric Association and chairman of the Swedish Association for Philosophy and Psychiatry.

Teaching

Responsible for semester 8 and responsible for the psychiatric part at the medical program at the University of Gothenburg, course leader for the Metis courses "Affective disorders" and "Psychiatric diagnostics", teacher at the research school COMPFOR (https://www.gu.se/celam/compfor-research -school).

Research

Broad research interest in psychiatry with a focus on digital tools and their importance and effect for mental health and psychiatric diseases. Conducted a number of clinical studies and is the main supervisor for several doctoral students.
