Research
My research themes include cognitive neuroscience, metascience, and network theory. These include:
- Cognitive neuroscience research in various cognitive functions and in several clinical populations. Here, I develop and apply new methods related to analyzing behavioral and neuroimaging data. The methods usually originate from temporal network theory, which analyzes complex connected systems over time.
- Understanding and improving science and scientific practices. My work here includes improving the readability of scientific texts, promoting dataset reuse, managing media coverage, and developing hypotheses.
- Develop and testing methods and software related to network theory and neuroimaging. Usually relating to (temporal) network methods. The software includes teneto and netplotbrain (as the main developer). I have also contributed to templateflow and various other projects.
