Lindi Ladron de Guevara
Intership at Mimbly
Hi, I’m Lindi! Hailing from the beautiful Cascade Mountain region of the Pacific Northwest in the US, I now call Sweden home. I am a second-year Master's student in Communication at GU. As I approach the end of my program, I am eager to begin my career as a Communications Specialist working with organizations that value people and the planet.
Mimbly is a sustainable laundry innovations company based in Gothenburg, Sweden. As a clean-tech start-up, the company's main product, the Mimbox, supports professional washing machines by reusing water, capturing microplastics, and lowering energy consumption. As an intern at Mimbly, I’ve contributed to expanding their digital presence, refining communication strategies, and developing materials for potential investors and partners.
Ruimeng Sun
Internship at HEYTEA
Hey there! I'm Ruimeng Sun.
I’m excited to share my internship experience at HEYTEA, a leading Chinese beverage brand. As a Public Relations intern, my main role was to maintain and enhance the brand’s image, both online and offline.
During this time, I gained valuable insights into social media brand management and cross-cultural communication, especially as HEYTEA expands internationally. This experience not only sharpened my skills but also reinforced my passion for connecting with people and bringing joy through communication—just like HEYTEA’s brand mission!
Looking forward to exploring more opportunities in branding and PR!
Cláudia Nunes Schleeh
Internship at Meela
Hi, I’m Cláudia! Originally from Portugal, I’ve also lived in Germany, Morocco, and India. Before moving to Sweden, I worked for five years at the British Embassy in Lisbon, focusing on communications and soft power. I led event planning, partnership management, ministerial visit organisation, influencer collaborations, and budget management. Key events included the Web Summit Lisbon, British VIP film premieres, and pre-COP26 initiatives.
I decided to complement this with academic experience and joined the Master’s in Communication. Last semester, I interned at Meela, a Swedish mental health tech startup, which was beginning its UK expansion. I created educational content (revised by mental health professionals, featured on the link on the right) and contributed to marketing campaigns.
