Education
We educate researchers and students who are interested in using digital methods and tools, as well as humanistic research-based perspectives on the interaction of the digital on knowledge production and societal development.
We have given the following courses and intend to give them also in the future:
• GIS – introduction
• GIS – advanced
• Programming for humanists
In 2023, a graduate school in digital humanities for doctoral students will start. The University of Gothenburg, Uppsala University, Umeå University and Linnaeus University will offer individual courses, joint seminars, summer school and practical and problem-oriented workshops in collaboration with cultural heritage institutions.
We participate in educational elements in courses given by departments at the majority of faculties at the University of Gothenburg, as well as at other institutions of higher learning such as Uppsala University.
We teach at the Master's program in digital humanities as well as at the independent courses Introduction to digital humanities and Cultures of sharing and participation.
