On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, Professor Lingjun Li, University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, will host a webinar on "Revealing the Chemical Space of Biological Systems through the Lens of Mass Spectrometry Imaging Coupled with In Situ Chemical Reactions".

Lingjun Li is a Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor and the Charles Melbourne Johnson Distinguished Chair Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison). She is one of the pioneers in developing novel mass spectrometry (MS)-based tools such as new isotopic and isobaric labeling strategies that enable hyperplexing for quantitative proteomics, peptidomics, metabolomics/lipidomics, and glycomics, and their applications in neuroscience and cancer research. Her lab also develops microscale separations, in vivo microdialysis and imaging MS tools for functional discovery of neuropeptides in model organisms and glyco-protein biomarkers in neurodegenerative diseases, especially in Alzheimer’s disease.

The seminar takes place at 15:00 - 16:00 (CET), including discussions. After the seminar, there is an opportunity to participate in an open informal discussion at 16:00 - 16:30 (CET).

Everyone is welcome!
