Network for human rights' statement on the war in Gaza
The School of Global Studies is a member of the network Association of Human Rights Institutes (AHRI), which consists of 75 member institutions that carry out research and education in the field of human rights across every continent.
At their annual executive committee board meeting, held on 12 April 2024, the network issued a statement on the war in Gaza.
They write:
As human rights scholars, we must stress that International Human Rights Law and International Humanitarian Law must be respected under all circumstances and irrespective of the contexts of a conflict.
