Collaborations and partners
WCMTM is part of major regional and national initiatives - all with the aim of strengthening life science research in Sweden and facilitating translation between the clinical and academic sectors, as well as a bridging to the industry.
The center was established in collaboration between the KAW Foundation, University of Gothenburg, Region Västra Götaland (Sahlgrenska University Hospital), and AstraZeneca - creating research environments in the interface between academia, health care and the pharmaceutical industry.
Many of our researchers collaborate with partners around the world, including several within the pharmaceutical industry. These collaborations help strengthen research both locally and nationally, and lay the groundwork for the future. Watch the full video reportage on our homepage
