Marcus Bartoletti
Marcus Bartoletti is a baritone from Stockholm. He is in his final year of the Master's Programme in Opera at the Academy of Music and Drama at the University of Gothenburg. He is performing the role of the father in Hansel and Gretel as the final production. Last winter he did an internship at Norrlandsoperan as Snofsing in the Scandinavian premiere of The Emperor's New Clothes. In Opera på Skäret's production of The Masquerade Ball this summer, he did the role of Cristiano.
In addition to opera repertoire, he has also sung oratorios such as St John Passion, the Requiems of Fauré and Mozart, God in Disguise and Handel's Messiah.
Anne Birgitte Bouwhuis Røkke
Born and raised just north of Trondheim (NO), Norwegian mezzo-soprano Anne Birgitte Bouwhuis Røkke holds a bachelor and a master degree in classical singing from the university in Trondheim and has also studied at the Academy of Opera - Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
In the autumn of 2019 she sang the title role in Georges Bizet's Carmen on tour with the Arctic Philharmonic (Norway) and as a part of her graduation at the national opera academy she sang the role of Ottone in Monteverdi's L'Incoronazione di Poppea. In the spring of 2022 she made her role debut as Ernesto in Haydn's Il mondo della luna in both Poland and Norway with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra and in the summer of 2022 she debuted as Donna Elvira in Opera Warberg's production of Don Giovanni by W.A Mozart.
Anne Birgitte has received multiple scholarships for her singing: from Tom Wilhelmsen's Foundation, Anders Sveaas’ Charitable Foundation and Sine Butenschøn's Foundation among others.
Amelie Flink
Amelie was born and raised in Harlösa but currently lives in Gothenburg where she is studying the final year of the Master's Programme in Opera at the Academy of Music and Drama, University of Gothenburg. Her previous roles include Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute and Ilia in Idomeneo by Mozart, Lucy in Menotti's The Telephone, Mathilda in the world premiere of Riddartornet by Carl Unander-Scharin, La Zia in Puccini's Madama Butterfly, Siren in Nystroem's Herr Arnes Penningar, Carolina in Cimarosa's Il matrimonio segreto and Second Woman in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas with companies such as Göteborg Opera, Vadstena-Akademien, Opera på Skäret, Smålandsoperan and Skånska Operan.
In the concert repertoire, she has appeared as soprano soloist in Bach's St. John Passion and St. Mark Passion, Handel's Messiah, Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Mozart's Requiem and Mass in C minor with orchestras such as the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra and the Stockholm Bach Society.
Stephania Alexandra Parlantza
Stephania is a lyric soprano. Born and raised in Greece, she found her passion in music at a very early age, when she joined the local music conservatory and children’s choir. She studied her Bachelor’s in musicology and music education at the Department of Music Science and Art - University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece where she graduated with distinction. She currently lives in Gothenburg, studying her Master’s in Opera performance at the Academy of Music and Drama - University of Gothenburg.
Stephania has performed in plenty of concerts in various countries such as Greece, Sweden, Lithuania, and Germany. Amongst others she has sung as a soloist with Thessaloniki City Symphony Orchestra, Borås Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Finn Rosengren, has performed at Drottningholms Slottsteater and has taken part in Herr Arnes penningar at the Göteborg Opera conducted by Patrik Ringborg.
Stephania finds great importance in artistic expression and that led her to the opera world.
Katariina Poikela
Katariina Poikela is a Finnish singer and a master's student in opera at the Academy of Music and Drama. Her voice converses comfortably between the contralto and mezzo-soprano repertoires. She has a drive for multi-dimensional artistry: her professional practice combines vocalism with composition, costuming, movement and graphic design. As a classical singer her special interests are romantic vocal music and Historically Informed Performance Practice particularly in the Baroque era.
She has bachelor degrees in Vocal performance and Vocal pedagogy from Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences, Finland. Her prior work includes the roles of Orfeo in Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice, Lisinga in Le Cinesi by Gluck and Juno/Athamas in Händel's Semele as well as various cantatas by Bach, Telemann and Vivaldi.
