Nick Hopwood is Professor of Professional Learning at UTS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. He has been involved in a number of simulation-focused studies in Australia and Europe. His work draws on theories of learning that have a disruptive ethos. In his keynote, he will propose a radical view of and purpose for simulation as an approach to workplace learning.
Anu Kajamaa is a Professor of Education (Continuous Learning) at the Faculty of Education and Psychology, University of Oulu, Finland. Her current research focuses especially on continuous and collective learning, simulation-based workplace development, and organizational transformation. In her keynote, she will discuss organizational simulations as arenas for the cocreation of knowledge in interdisciplinary teams.
