Short description

This project aims at increasing the understanding for entrepreneurship within creative industries, with a specific focus on the Swedish fashion industry. The role of creative knowledge for this type of entrepreneurship, in relation to other types of knowledge, is investigated, as well as the effect it can have on a more sustainable development of the Swedish fashion industry. Focus is here put on individuals who have a university degree in fashion design, thereby putting the creatives at centre stage. An important factor is also the surrounding ecosystem within which this individuals act. By increasing our understanding of the role that creative knowledge plays for the creation of this type of knowledge-intensive firms, the goal is to gain new insights on how to promote sustainable development within creative industries.
