Research start-up grant
The Centre for Retailing provides start-up grants for research about retailing for researchers and doctoral students at the School of Business, Economics and Law at University of Gothenburg. The aim is to strengthen the research about the retail industry at the School of Business, Economics and Law through enhancing the possibilities of getting research grant from major research agencies.
Who can apply and what can you get grants for
The CFR provides start-up grants for research about retailing for researchers and doctoral students at the School of Business, Economics and Law at University of Gothenburg.
The start-up grant can be used for costs associated with developing the research application, including but not limited to travel costs, workshops, meetings, pilot studies etc.
When to apply
There are four opportunities per year to apply for grants. Last application dates are:
15 January, 15 April, 15 September, 15 November.
The grant is paid from Handelns forskningsstiftelse i Göteborg. All applications are processed by the CFR reference group.
How to apply
Fill out the application form. Only complete applications are processed. Send the signed application in pdf to infoCFR@handels.gu.se.
Notification
The applicant will be notified via e-mail.
Report
The report shall include information about how the grant has been used and what the results were. Report at the latest two months after the grant period is over. Send your report to infoCFR@handels.gu.se.
