Consumption and markets
Transformation in the retail sector is closely linked to changes in consumption, both in terms of how consumers buy goods and services and also in how consumption behaviors and attitudes are changing more generally.
Digitalization, sustainability and mobility contribute to changing both consumption and companies' business models. They are therefore becoming increasingly important issues of long-term implications for retail and its development. Within the area of consumption and markets, studies include the digitalization of consumer culture; changing food buying behaviours, CSR in the digital society; changing business models and the emergence of digital platforms.
