The digitalization of society and the development of new technologies are progressing at a rapid pace. This entails changing conditions and new opportunities for learning and teaching in schools, higher education, and the workplace. This course provides you with a critical and scientifically grounded approach to how innovative digital technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Visualization, can be used to support teaching and learning in schools, higher education, and the workplace.
The course also highlights and discusses current research that examines and questions trends and assumptions about these technologies that lack a scientific foundation.
The course is online-based and includes lectures, seminars, and individual work. A computer with a stable internet connection is required. The instruction is conducted in both Swedish and English.

Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 165 credits.
