Your Aptus proximity key (coloured plastic tag) opens the entrance door, the garage, the bicycle room and the garbage room/waste station on the yard. There is no entrance code to enter the building. To open the doors place your key tag to the padlock symbol at the reader. Make sure the outer doors always close properly behind you. Note that the garbage door only makes a very subtle sound when it unlocks. Your regular key opens the door to your apartment. 

The keys and the Keycode tag are property of Welcome Services. Please note that you have to cover the cost if you lose or damage them. Do not separate the keys from the Keycode tag at any time!

The armchair is a seat module that easily converts into a bed. There is a small bed mattress and an extra blanket that is stored away in the regular bed, under the matress.

The sofa bed in apartment 1102 is fitted together with two metal pieces that are easily removable. Ther matress and blanket is stored away inside the sofa bed.

To turn on the dish washer you must first open the water supply in the kitchen. There is a small knob on the side of the tap, turn it to open the water supply for the washing machine/ dish washer.

At the basement floor there is a room for both bikes and prams. Turn right when exciting the elevator to find the room

Cleaning during your stay is not included in the price. On departure you must leave the apartment neat and tidy, ready for the next guest. Follow the Checklist for moving out.

The garbage room is located in a small building in the middle of the courtyard. In Sweden it is customary to sort and recycle your garbage and in the garbage room there are different bins for newspapers, cardboard, plastic packages, glass, metal, batteries, food remains and other refuse.

Food remains to be placed in the brown bag is e.g. left overs, peelings, eggs, bread, coffee grounds, coffee filters, tea leafs, kitchen roll paper and cut flowers.

There is a broadband modem in your apartment.

The equipment is the property of Welcome Services at the University of Gothenburg and shall be left in the apartment at all times.

The mailboxes are located in the entrance hall. For the mail to be delivered, you need to have your name on the letterbox. We will provide you with a name sticker. Please do not tape or glue the sticker on but put it inside the plastic pocket on the letterbox with your apartment number on. Check that the name is fully visible when the mailbox is locked.

We suggest you choose the colour red – Ingen reklam, tack (no commercials please) to avoid your mailbox to be filled with commercial flyers. 

Also, for mails to reach you, your address must include your name, street, street number, apartment number, zip code and mailing address. Larger parcels are not delivered to your address but to designated delivery locations. If you are due to receive a package, you will be notified of where you can collect it. Please note that it will be stored for a limited time. 

Remember to forward your mail to your new address when moving out.

If anything is amiss with the apartment, please contact us as soon as possible and we can send someone to do the repairs or replace missing items.
Simpler maintenance, such as changing light bulbs, cleaning the water trap of the wash basin etc. is the tenants’ responsibility.

The apartment is furnished and equipped for self-catering, which means you manage everything yourself. Detergent, light bulbs, toilet paper and consumables that you use, you replace if needed.

If/when cleaning the water trap in the shower make sure that you put the water trap and bucket firmly and precisely in place. Otherwise it might start to smell.

There's no provision for storage at this location. We kindly request tenants not to bring their own furniture or other large items.

We initially provide you with detergent for the washing machine.
Note, one spoon is enough for a full machine.

Make sure to empty the lint and clean the filter after every time you use the tumble dryer, don't forget to empty the water tank if applicable. NB: Wired brassiere must be washed in wash bag/net.
