Jag är centrumföreståndare för Centrum för Personcentrerad vård (GPCC), innehar en kombinationsanställning som Professor samt universitetssjukhusöversjuksköterska inom vårdvetenskap vid Institutionen för Vårdvetenskap och Hälsa samt vid Sahlgrenska Universitetssjukhuset verksamhetsområde Anestesi/Operation/Intensivvård vid Östra sjukhuset. Professor inom anestesi vid OsloMet Universitet i Oslo. Jag är också knuten till Centrum för Personcentrerad Vård vid Göteborgs universitet (GPCC). Jag leder forsksargruppen Gothenburg Pain Lab, www.gothenburgpainlab.com.
Forskning:
Min forskning kretsar kring olika aspekter av innovation, implementering och utvärdering av personcentrerad vård, då främst inom slutenvården. Särskilda fokusområden ligger inom mobil eHälsa och delningsekonomier, patientrapporterade utfallsmått samt värdebaserad vård. Inom anestesi forskar jag inom opioidfri anestesi och smärtbehandling. Jag leder Gothenburg Pain Lab (www.gothenburgpainlab.com) tillsammans med Docent/Specialistläkare Paulin Andrell.
Undervisning:
Jag undervisar inom kurser och program på avancerad nivå vid Göteborgs universitet. Mina kompetenser återfinns inom personcentrerad vård och hälsa, eHälsa, värdebaserad sjukvård/styrning samt strategisk organisationsförändring.
Nyttogörande:
Jag har lång erfarenhet av operativ projektledning för flera strategiska satsningar för att utveckla hållbara plattformar för implementering av personcentrerad vård. Jag leder och har lett flera innovationsprojekt med anslag ifrån bland annat Vinnova. Jag är ordförande i den europeiska kommitteen för framtagande av en europeisk standard för patientdelaktighet inom hälso- och sjukvård, samt styrelseledamot i den svenska riksföreningen inom anestesi och intensivvård.
Ett särkskilt fokusområde är social innovation och då framförallt digitala delningsekonomier. Jag har även erfarenheter av att ta fram CME krediterade program för bland annat vidareutbildning inom kronisk hjärtsvikt.
